What Is An Annual DOT Inspection?
An annual DOT inspection is a yearly checkup that is required for a number of different trucks to ensure your truck is safe and compliant with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Listed below are just a few of the many components we check for during our DOT inspection:

Trucking companies are required to conduct annual DOT inspections as a fundamental part of their truck maintenance program. However, on average, more than 140,000 trucks are cited annually for operating a Commercial Vehicle (CMV) without evidence of a regular inspection. This is the second most frequent truck maintenance violation in the FMCSA's system, with nearly 12,000 trucks cited each month for not having undergone an annual DOT inspection.
